KYOCERA AVX Glass Encapsulated MLVs Automotive series is special series of glass encapsulated, AEC-Q200 qualified SMT components for bi-directional overvoltage protection with the advantage of EMI/RFI attenuation in the off-state for automotive applications. The glass encapsulation provides enhanced resistance against harsh environment or process such as acidic environment, salts or chlorite flux.

Available in case sizes from 1206 to 3220, working voltage from 16 to 85Vdc, energy rating up to 13.8J, peak current rating up to 3000A and load dump rating up to 50J. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with no derating. Parts offer excellent lead free solderability thanks to Ni Barrier/100% Sn termination.
