We are so proud to see our #KYOCERAAVX Iridium LDS Cap antenna play a key role in this successful satellite voice messaging demonstration using Iridium NTN Direct, which brought together seven partners from across the connectivity ecosystem!
The milestone message was transmitted entirely through the Iridium satellite network from a Toyota Motor Corporation vehicle in Bonn. It was equipped with a Nordic Semiconductor nRF9151 development board, KYOCERA AVX antennas 9002225L0-L01-14D and X1005247 and a Deutsche Telekom IoT SIM.
Supported by Fraunhofer IIS’s AI-based NESC Voice Codec, this achievement highlights the potential of NTN technology for connected vehicles and IoT applications.
