AntennaGuard® Series Low Capacitance Varistors are designed for reliable bi-directional circuit protection against transient overvoltages in RF circuits and other capacitance sensitive applications. These low capacitance values have low insertion loss, as well as give other advantages such as small size, sub-nanosecond response time, low leakage currents and unsurpassed reliability compared to diodes and makes them ideal for RF circuits, sensors, high-speed lines, optics circuits and other capacitance sensitive applications.
Available in 0402 and 0603 case sizes, working voltage 18Vdc and capacitance ratings of 2, 3 and 12pF. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with no derating. Parts offer excellent lead free solderability thanks to Ni Barrier/100% Sn termination however PdAg termination for hybrid assembly is also available upon request.
